Massage therapy involves mild, moderate or deeper strokes on the back, arms, legs, neck and other areas, to target muscles and soft tissues for pain relief, stress reduction and relaxation.
Massage helps assist in healing while targeting pain, injuries, stress and stiffness using a variety of techniques including gliding, kneading, tapping, friction, light shaking and fascial manipulation. Light pressure gliding techniques also promote lymph drainage.

Deep pressure can be used to address chronic pain and injury as well. Deeper techniques can help in the release of resistant areas in the muscle (knots) to increase range of motion in joints and to lengthen tight muscles. Focused pressure can also break apart the scar tissue associated with chronic injury.
